Papalá, Mountains (1 panel)
$1,020.00 – $1,224.00
The rich color palette for our Jujuy Collection draws from the dramatic rock formations in Jujuy (hoo-HWEE), a province in Argentina’s remote Northwest.
We use wool that is sheared and handspun by a women’s cooperative in the region — and which is then sent down to our workshop in Buenos Aires to be batch-dyed and woven on an ancestral loom.
The intensely nubby weave of these rugs mirrors the soulful and rugged terrain of their origin.
Due to the nature of the handspun wool from which these rugs are woven, we recommend this collection for use in low-traffic areas.
