These blankets, known as batania, are woven exclusively for l’aviva home in a tiny weaving studio hidden down narrow pathways on the outskirts of the Marrakesh Medina. Trimmed with dramatically oversized pom poms and woven from 100% hand spun wool, the heirloom textiles are a stylized rendition of the traditional blankets used to protect against freezing temperatures in the high Atlas Mountains.
