This design references the special geographical location of the Wounaan people- people of both the river and the sea. This basket represents the tension between the waves of the river and those of the sea.

Given the nature and story of these Werregue palm pendants, the tightly woven fiber results in an opaque shade, with a focused spot light emanating from the bottom mouth of the fixture.
